Tide Clocks - About Them and How They Work

Fishermen have long been aware that many species of fish are caught on a particular stage of the tide and thus being able to ascertain this at a glance of the tide clock.

Surfers know when the better waves are generated at their favourite beach when the tide is generally rising.

Our products ave been well tried and tested over the last thirteen years and will give trouble free operations if the instructions are followed.

It will be advisable to check your area prior to purchasing a tide clock as some places have 2-3 days a month where only one change of tide occurs and clocks cannot compensate for this anomaly.

Where Do Tide Clocks Work?

The following map shows a graphical representation of areas where the Saffie Tide Clocks will work efficiently. You will notice that Tide Clocks work in all Tidal areas with the exception of two areas on the Australian Coastline (one on the West Australian Coast and the other between Port Lincoln and Portland on the South Coast line).
